Every week we like to share with you pictures of The Pink Logs. These pictures are a mix of pictures we have taken and ones that our readers like to send in to us. This week, The Pink Logs have been spotted on a trip to the Beverly Center shopping mall in Beverly Hills. The pictures were taken by hushhush ATTACK's very own Josh The Intern as he followed the logs up and down the aisles of the mall, to get the money shots that you see here.

Cian - Climbing Trees (Unsigned)
Cork, Ireland's Cian
is a songwriter fronting a two-piece electro-acoustic outfit whose
melody-driven music is a fine fusion of acoustic guitars with
electronic beats and synths, reflecting influences ranging from the
sweet, sublime sounds of Jeff
Buckley to the electro-pop confections of the Postal
Service. From the beginning his life has been steeped
in music: his parents were busy musicians, always either on the road
or in the studio with their band. To Cian, this was normal life and
he aspired to the same, furthering his goals by taking up the drums
at age four, piano at six and guitar at ten. He got off to a
promising start when his debut EP was deemed "Pick of the
Fortnight" in Hot Press magazine's "Garageland"
section and he's since shared stages with such acts as British
Sea Power, The
4 of Us and Cathy
Davey. Cian completed his first tour of the West Coast
of America in late 2007, where his music was featured on the popular
Los Angeles acoustic music show "Tied to the Tracks" on KCSN.
He's just returned to Ireland from his second US tour, which
supported his soon-to-be-released second EP, Closer. Check out

Polysics - Rocket (MySpace Records)
When it comes to Japan, most people think of computers and electronic
products as their main export, rarely does music come to mind; for
now. Formed in 1997 and raised on heavy doses of Devo
is the Japanese quartet, Polysics. The New Wave/Rock band that was
named after a brand of synthesizer and has released several
successful albums before catching the attention of MySpace Records;
not only is MySpace creator Tom
Anderson a friend, but he is also one of their biggest
fans. Another fan includes Mark Mothersbaugh of Devo, who
loves the music so much that he has their CD on his office hold
system, so when a caller is waiting, they heard the Polysics. Their
latest album, We Ate The Machine was released in Japan in
April and was just released in the U.S. on September 30th. Enjoy
"Rocket" by the Polysics and discover other music and
videos by the band at http://www.myspace.com/polysicsna.

NO FEAR &
LOATHING FOR GLASVEGAS: Scots quartet Glasvegas, who bowed with a
bang last week at No.2 on the Mediaguide Alternative Specialty Song
chart with the self-released "Geraldine," completes their assault
on the top spot by garnering the pole position this week; in
addition, the track picks up enough spins to also claim the top slot
on the Album end. This Sunday the Glaswegian foursome will be at the
Roundhouse in London opening for Oasis (one can only imagine the
things the Pink Logs, who will be in town for the inaugural MUSEXPO
Europe starting the next day, will resort to in their efforts to get
tickets), prior to starting a tour across Europe and the British
Isles on November 15 through December 16; for further details, check
www.myspace.com/glasvegas.
Staying hot on the heels of Glasvegas are Stereophonics, who move 3-2
on the Song side with "My Own Worst Enemy," propelling their new
greatest hits collection, Decade in the Sun (Fontana), 6-2 on
the Album end. Eagles of Death Metal, who'd topped the Song side
the previous two weeks with "Wannabe in L.A." (Rekords
Rekords/Downtown), drop 1-3 on that chart but still get enough play
for the song to stay strong at No.6 on the Album end. Top debut
honors on the Song chart this week go to I'm From Barcelona, which
is an act composed of musicians from...Sweden, of course! They debut
his week at No.6 with the song "Paper Planes" (not to be confused
with the M.I.A. tune of the same name), helping full-length Who
Killed Harry Houdini? (Mute) to a No.7 showing on the Album
index. Speaking of impressive bows, debuting at No.4 on the Album end
this week are The Little Ones with Morning Tide (Chop Shop),
with the majority of airplay going to the title track, which clocks
in at No.14 on the Song chart.
