As 2007 came to an end, a phenomenon had begun...the Pink Logs phenomenon. First photographed in Los Angeles, CA on December 31st, the hushhush ATTACK! Pink Logs were photographed at a New Year's Eve celebration in downtown LA with party goers. These are the only instances of the Pink Logs being photographed that we are aware of, but there have been multiple sightings reported in various countries.
If you have had an encounter with the Pink Logs and would like to share, please send in your picture and we can get to the bottom of this phenomenon and track its worldwide ATTACK!

MP3 Friska Viljor - "Oh Oh" (Crying Bob Records)
Usually the best music created by an artist or band is when they go through an emotional rollercoaster. It can be good or bad events that pave the way to brilliance and creativity. In the case of friends Daniel & Joakim, both of them experienced break-ups with their girlfriends at the same time, leading them together to form Friska Viljor. Before the music began, the two had their priorities on late nights and drinking and they quote "everything is good when you're drunk."

The two got together at their studio after a night of partying and that's when their music really started to become what it is today.

Consistently working together on every note and chord, Friska Viljor became better and better each time they rehearsed. The Swedish duo has created a full length album called Bravo! The band names alcohol, women and bitterness combined with a little bit of hope for inspiration on making the album. Listen to "Oh Oh" and check out their MySpace page here

The Beautiful Girls "I Thought About You"

Australia's own The Beautiful Girls is made up of band members Mat McHugh, Paulie B and Bruce Braybrooke. Formed in 2001, The Beautiful Girls were once known as a stoner band that was a great live act to see. Fast forward to 2008, with record label Controlled Substance Sound Labs, and they have shed that image and even got a 4-star review from Rolling Stone magazine. Their latest album, Ziggurats, has gotten rave reviews from multiple media outlets and has The Beautiful Girls distancing themselves from their blues and folk influence and embracing more of a rock sound that combines electric guitars and pulsating drums to their already perfected mix of roots and reggae blend. Check out the fan-favorite "I Think About You" video and see how the band has grown.
